CAARP stands for currency, authority, accuracy, relevance and purpose. This infographic is meant to decrease plagiarism and increase reliability. Students need assistance when dissecting information, so an infographic is the best way to communicate information in small sections. This infographic can be applied to any research topic because it’s general with its information. The overall visual communicates relevant information and simplifies complex material.

“The Animated World of VR” is an infographic that answers general questions about virtual reality. This data visualization uses information in a graph format to convey a message depending on the topic. This specific chart displays vibrant colors that captures the learner’s attention. The graphics align with the subject matter because we are discussing gaming and the incorporation of virtual reality. The statistics are a reflection of the amount of people that use virtual reality on a daily basis.
This infographic is meant to convey a message in digestible chunks. This particular infographic integrates information design, statistical graphics, data visualizations and information visualizations. Each section guides the viewer’s attention to that block of information. This can enhance presentations because it addresses questions in a uniformed format. This infographic was created using the features on Canva.

Memory Game



This memory game is created using the software Microsoft PowerPoint. The game is meant for students in K-3rd grade. It can be used to practice new sounds or review old lesson plans. Students will have instructions and will play with another student. They have to match the corresponding sounds together. If the learners do not pronounce the sounds correctly, they have to turn the start over.
Phonological awareness is necessary when completing this task because learner’s will have to recognize the letters and sounds. Students will have to blend sounds together which will assess their knowledge on familiar sounds. The audience will need previous knowledge on phonemic awareness before completing this game. Decoding, blending and word reading is essential for acknowledge complex assignments throughout various grade levels. Educators can utilize this game in small or whole group instruction.
Identify The Shapes





“Identify the Shapes” is a game that assist students in distinguishing between 2D and 3D shapes. This game was meant for K-3rd grade students. Various transitions, animations, and music was integrated into the presentation to maintain the attention of the audience. Mayer’s Multimedia Principles provides a guideline for creating subject matter that address different objectives. This game is meant to follow after a group lesson plan about shapes. The principles used for this game is:
Pre-training Principle: Students will already have previous knowledge about the characteristics of 2D and 3D shapes.
Multimedia Principles: This game incorporates a mixture of pictures and words in multiple formats that will assist learners in processing and integrating information more efficiently.
Redundancy Principle: The graphics on the screen is more effective than having primarily words on the screen. Students having the ability to select their answer will increase productivity and give instant gratification.
Amplify Reading Training







Amplify Reading is a platform that teachers and administrators utilize to provide assessments and data-driven instruction to increase reading fluidity. This design project provides 1st grade teachers with online training detailing the features that can be accessed through Amplify Reading. This module is essential for teaching diverse learning styles and promotes culturally relevant instruction.

Classroom Management Training
This storyboard details various scenarios pertaining to classroom management and de-escalating violent situation amongst students. Adobe Captivate would be used to create a online training that is catered to teacher in the K-5th grade setting. The ADDIE model is the framework used to outline the training. Analyzing the problem, teachers needed more strategies when solving complex behavior issue in the classroom. Designing the storyboard required outlining each slideshow and the animation needed to ensure the audience is gaining knowledge from the objectives.
The development of the materials will include an online training that uses formative and summative assessments to promote knowledge retention on classroom management. Implementing the training should be completed during a meeting discussing ways to improve behavior within the classroom between students. Lastly, teachers should be quizzed throughout the module. At the end, they should have a final assessment with scenarios that mirror the training. They will receive a grade depending on their performance.
If they don’t pass the assessment with at least an 80%, they have to retake the module. The participant will receive a certificate to turn into the administrators to acknowledge that they are proficient in classroom management.
